Mini Felted Characters at Straight Farmhouse Museum

Spend a couple of hours making your own felted animals from wool! In this workshop, you’ll choose from a variety of characters. These shapes are simple and easy to felt, making this project perfect for beginners or anyone looking for a relaxed, creative escape.
You’ll learn basic needle felting techniques while shaping your animal, adding texture, and giving it a bit of personality. By the end of class, you’ll have a finished piece ready to display, gift, or tuck onto a shelf as a little companion.
All materials are provided, including soft wool and felting tools. Bring your curiosity and creativity, and leave with a handmade friend that’s uniquely yours, and a little character to take home. We have future sessions for over 20 characters - make one or make them all!
