WAITLISTED Framed Jewelry Tree Collage - Garden City

Please join us for this exciting upcycled jewelry tree workshop. Come and make your very own beautiful creation. Maybe you have some very sentimental pieces you'd like to create with. You are welcome to bring your own collection as well! See comparable trees online for sale at $80-$300 and more!

You must supply:

~ The frame and backing (can be sturdy cardboard that fits inside)

~ Glue gun and glue sticks. See the frame size prices from below.

We will supply

~ All the jewelry findings (you are welcome to bring some of your own pieces as well)

~ The velvet backing (we will glue on in class)

We will have a collection of jewelry, buttons and beads and glue the entire piece together in class following a few simple steps. I am so excited about this and can hardly wait to see what YOU make!

I had no prior experience in making my sentimental tree art. I watched some videos on what to use and how to assemble. I used some of my jewelry box pieces as well as jewelry from my Mom's and Grandmother's jewelry boxes. All other pieces are gathered and purchased from thrift stores and garage sales. I have purchased some really cool pieces and will continue to look for more!

2 sizes to choose from:

1) 8 x 10 frame $55 + bring your own frame + glue gun + sticks

2) 11 x 14 Frame $75 + bring your own frame + glue gun + sticks

3) Limited to 5 seats. $30 You bring all supplies including the frame, the polyester/velvet backing + your own jewelry materials and glue gun + sticks. You will not have access to any class materials. This fee includes venue rental and 2.5 hour class instruction.

No experience needed. I will share ideas with you and then we will work independently in class. Your glue gun will strongly adhere your jewelry.

Class fee covers the venue rental fee, class instruction, materials as mentioned above and material backing and upcycled jewelry pieces. This all adds up. *Please bring your own glue gun and glue sticks*

** No FULL coverage of frame allowed. Cost will increase if you do full frame coverage with the jewelry.

This class is pay by mail only using the Comp Ticket feature. Payment instructions will be emailed approx. 4 weeks prior to the event with payment mailing instructions.
