If you're visiting Folly Farm on Monday 25 August – please note that you can join us in the Big Broom Meadow to explore the world of minibeasts alongside our Conservation team! Help to identify beautiful moths, join a guided bug hunt, identify pond creatures, help build a bug hotel and get crafty by designing your own butterfly!
This is a drop-in activity so no booking is required – but please note the times below:
10.00 – 10.45: Moth trap drop-in session. Help identify and safely release the moths caught in our overnight ‘trap’
11.00 – 11.30: Bug hunt
12.00 – 12.30: Bug hunt
14.00 – 14.30: Pond bugs drop-in session. Help identify the aquatic insects found in our ponds
15.00 – 15.30: Bug hunt
16.00 – 16.30: Bug hunt
Plus enjoy all day arts and crafts
***Please note that payment for park entry applies as per normal - this is just an additional activity included in the admission price should anyone want to join in!
