This winter there will be a series of 8 free sessions of mindfulness meditation practice in Drumnadrochit facilitated by Dr Peter Wilkes.
The sessions will be designed to help both beginners and more experienced mindfulness practitioners develop and deepen their mindfulness practice. Each session will consist of meditation practices including mindful movement, body scans and sitting practices and will last between 90 minutes and 2 hours.
The sessions will be held in the Glenurquhart Care Centre in Drumnadrochit on Tuesday evenings starting at 7.30pm on the following dates:
26th November, 3rd, 10th and 17th December 2024 and then on 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th January 2025.

Mindfulness is a well validated scientific approach which can help with stress, anxiety, depression, isolation and chronic pain. Mindfulness can bring more awareness, gratitude, kindness & compassion into our lives and can help us feel more relaxed and able to cope. It can also help to build resilience.
