About this Event
Mindful Movement: Alexander Technique for Balance and Coordination
Description: Discover how to improve balance, coordination, and ease of movement in this 5-week series based on the Alexander Technique, a research-supported mind-body method that helps reduce tension and enhance body awareness. With simple anatomy and awareness lessons, you’ll learn to ground yourself, regulate your nervous system, and move with more confidence. We will use gentle hands-on guidance to explore daily activities (such as walking, sitting, and speaking) and specialized skills like playing an instrument or a sport. This supportive, interactive class is designed for adults 18 and over. Come experience a lighter, more comfortable way of moving.
