About this Event
Patch Twickenham is proud to host Mindful Monday - a new lunchtime series designed to help you pause, ground, and reset midway through your week.
Our first session, Mindful Doodling with Rebekah Di Palma, is a guided practice that uses simple drawing exercises to help you slow down, train your nervous system, and find calm. No artistic skill required - just bring yourself and an openness to being present.
βοΈ What is Mindful Doodling?
Mindful Doodling is a slowing down of the breath, mind, and body with the aid of pen and paper.
"The aim is to ground, pause and be present in the moment. It is a 'space' to relax and introduce the art of training the nervous system to realise a calmer state. The sessions are aimed at non-creatives, although all skills are welcome. Through a series of exercises, I guide everyone on taking their pen on a journey, whilst becoming aware of slowing down their minds and movements without judgement."
- Rebekah Di Palma
π§ What to Expect
The main guided session runs for 45 minutes (12pmβ12:45pm), perfect if you're on a lunch break and need to get back to work.
If you'd like to stay longer, the space will be open until 1:30pm for anyone who wants to continue doodling at their own pace β no pressure, just an invitation to extend the calm if your schedule allows.
Feel free to bring your lunch - this is a relaxed, come-as-you-are session.
Rebekah will guide you through gentle drawing exercises designed to quiet your mind and bring you into the present moment. There's no pressure to create anything 'good' β the focus is entirely on the process, not the outcome.
You'll leave feeling calmer, more grounded, and with simple techniques you can use whenever you need to reset.
All materials provided - just bring yourself (and your lunch if you'd like!).
