Mindful Masquerade & Chill: Edgar Allan Poe Night

Since our Poe event earlier this month has been so popular, we've added an extra date for Oct 19!

Are you a Boston millennial looking for a fun, mindful way to celebrate Halloween with new likeminded people?

Join our Mindful Masquerade Night - our version of a Halloween party for the Peace Out community! There's gonna be an Edgar Allan Poe themed meditation + mini escape room experience, cocktails, costumes, fun ways of getting your inner peace on, sharing silly life stories together, and hanging out!

Whether you're new to Peace Out or have been coming to yoga/meditation classes before, you're welcome to join - most people come alone to meet new people!

If you ever wanted to calm the f*ck up while feeling like you’re a badass literary character, come check this out. It’ll be a chill, experiential night.

It’ll be a night of high-energy peace that feels effortless and just as fun as hanging out at your best friend's apartment.

My name's Alaska, and I started Peace Out to host fun yoga/meditation classes in Boston and ski + meditation trips. I'm a professional yoga/meditation instructor with over 300 hours of certification across multiple training programs - it’s been an amazing journey so far, and I’d love to meet more people into inner peace.

Your Ticket Includes:

• Unique Edgar Allan Poe themed meditation experience in a home pirate den studio
• Beginner-friendly, experiential Edgar Allan Poe themed mini escape-room adventure
• A selection of hauntingly themed cocktails & mocktails

This event is limited to 15 attendees to ensure an intimate, interactive experience where everyone can get to know each other.

General Plan

Costumes optional, have fun with it! You're welcome to wear either Poe/Gothic costumes or whatever costume of any theme you feel like.

• 8pm: Doors open at my home meditation studio in Union Square, Somerville [location announced 24 hours before the event]

• 8:30pm: Unique Edgar Allan Poe themed meditation experience in pirate den studio
• 9:30pm onwards: 'The House of Usher's Escape' room adventure
• 11pm-?: Main activities conclude by 11pm or earlier, but feel free to arrive and depart as your energy allows. My home studio will be open until at least midnight - some spooky socializing can continue for those who wish to linger in the shadows a bit longer.

Show up without any level of experience needed and have a great time. The vibe is laidback, silly, meaningful and chill, and meditative [without the "work" of meditating].
