Mark Lipman at the Rooted Cafe in Somerville

When you're at a Mark Lipman show, you may feel things. In his acclaimed album The Glimmer (2022), Lipman opens up about his journey—one where he discovers that the same symptoms mental health providers see as problems can often be sources of strength, insight, wisdom, and empowerment. His most recently released single "Daddy Issues" is a playful testament to his ability to tell a story both personal and universal, raw and tender. Lipman will be performing some of these tunes and more at this intimate show at the Rooted Cafe in the Center for The Arts at The Armory in Somerville, MA. He'll be accompanied by his friends and local music legends Kara Kulpa, Abbie Barrett, and Erik White.
