Mindful Connections for Partners in Recovery - South Hills 2026
About this Event
Mindful Connections for Partners in Recovery (MC4PR) is Awaken Pittsburgh’s proprietary program designed to help you build resilience and create space for mindfulness in your own life. Navigating a loved one's recovery can be overwhelming. This program brings you into a shared community of people facing similar challenges, giving you tools to stay focused, grounded, and emotionally anchored. By cultivating your own well-being alongside others, you can positively transform your relationships and your daily life.
Join us for this 12-week program to learn how to:
- Navigate daily stressors with clarity and calm.
- Break the isolation alongside a community that truly understands.
- Sustain deep self-compassion without guilt.
- Foster post-traumatic growth and rediscover your strength.
- Build a personalized practice to support your ongoing healing.
A meal will be provided at each session.
Children, ages K-8, will engage in parallel programming , appropriate for their ages.
Childcare will be provided for potty trained children ages 3-5 (unless capacity is reached).
This program is made possible with funding from Allegheny County.
