Supportive & practical techniques that help navigate the difficulties.As parents we live busy and stressful lives with many things on the go. We are often managing other stressors such as budgeting, neurodiversity and additional needs. It’s no wonder that we sometimes struggle or feel burnt out.
Mindfulness has been proven as supportive and beneficial in moments of stress. It can build our emotional resilience, help us be more present with our children and support us to maintain healthy habits and relationships.
These practical workshops support parents with difficult family issues such as managing big emotions, repairing after a conflict, keeping calm and setting appropriate boundaries when things kick off.
The Mindful Parenting and Community Project has been supporting parents for 10 years. We are parents ourselves and so have a lived experience of these difficulties
Workshop 1 – Adapting Mindfulness for SEND Families - Friday 20th September, 10.30 - 1.30
Learn how to bring mindfulness techniques into your family with children who have neurodiversity or additional needs
Workshop 2 – Nature Connection and Wellbeing - Monday 21 st October, 10.30 - 1.30
Learn how to boost your wellbeing through connecting with nature.
Workshop 3 – Managing BIG Emotions - Monday 25th November 10.30 - 1.30
Learn how to keep calm when things kick off and techniques to support your to manage both your own bug emotions and hold those from other familiy members.

We have a sliding scale to hopefully suit all budgets and finances
