About this Event
Every Monday. Chess and Connect 4. Free to play. No brackets, no entry fee, no waiting around for a pairing.
Mind Games is Providence's casual games night at The Bubbler VR a VR lounge with a dirty soda bar on Charles Street. Walk in, grab a board, play whoever's free, leave whenever you want. Boards are on the house. So is the seat.
This is not a tournament. There's just one piece of structure: the leaderboard.
How the leaderboard works
Every game gets logged on a scorecard, and every game earns points: play a game 1 point (yes, even if you lose). Win 3. Beat someone ranked above you +2. Beat the House Champion +10. Bring a new player who logs a game +3.
Chess, Connect 4. It resets on the 1st of every month, so whenever you show up, you're in the running. Monthly winners get their name as Player of the Month, a free VR session, and a post from us.

- 6:00–9:00 — Kids and adults ((A nine-year-old beating a grown adult is the highlight of every week.)
