World's Most Lovable... Annelise uses song, dance, and audience interaction to help her answer all of her existential questions about dating including "Am I falling in love with my phone?" .... "How do we best communicate with Generation Zed"? ... and most importantly "Am I the red flag?" With parody songs ranging from "Pink Pony Club" to "Part of Your World," Annelise unpacks millennial paralysis in a whimsical way that will either make you cry or turn you on. She's a bird, she's a clown, she's a friend, and if anything, she is a hell of a good time! Join the fun, Friday, December 4th at The VU.

Bio:

ANNELISE BAKER (she/her) is an NYC based comedian. She has created two hour long comedy cabarets and performed them at The Green Room 42. Annelise will be featured on The Gilded Age (HBO) this fall and has created many of her own short films. She is thrilled to be performing at The VU Lounge and Speakeasy! Other than comedy, Annelise is a professional musical theater actress. She is currently in the off Broadway company of Masquerade. Her other credits include Broadway: Jagged Little Pill. Regional: Chess (The Muny) The Outsiders (La Jolla), Cabaret (Asolo Rep), Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (The Rev), Chicago (Riverside Theater) and 39 Steps (Jean’s Playhouse).
