Come out for a day of learning, fun, food, and friendship. The Mobile County Beekeepers Association in conjuction with the MCPSS Environmental Study Center are hosting a day of education about pollinators, beekeeping, products from bee hives, intentional planting for pollinators, and how honey is made and extracted. There will be vendors, food trucks, access to the center to see all of the wildlife exhibits to include deer, birds of prey, alligators , and more. Mimi will also be a speaker/presenter at the event. She will be discussing the products that we make using was and honey from our bees. Be sure to come out doe her presentation along with a Q&A portion.
Mimi & Poppy's Place will be there with our setup for our homemade, handcrafted soaps, shampoos, beard, and hair care products.
The admission is $3, which helps to provide aid, care, rescue, and rehabilitation operations for wildlife in our area.
