Miles of HOPE 5K

Miles of Hope 5K is more than a walk, it’s a movement to support families working toward stable housing and a brighter future. Join us for a meaningful morning of running or walking while raising funds that provide critical services and housing assistance to individuals experiencing homelessness. Every step you take helps create stability, opportunity, and hope in our community. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or participating for fun, your miles truly matter.

Info: Pre-registered and day-of participants can check in at the Welcome Table, where sign-in sheets will be organized alphabetically by last name for quick and easy check-in. All early bird registrants will receive an official event T-shirt at check-in.

Info: We’ll kick off the day with a brief welcome from HOPE for All Gulf Coast’s CEO, Derek Boulware, followed by greetings and a blessing from The Most Reverend Mark S. Rivituso of the Archdiocese of Mobile, before beginning the walk.The course is just over one mile. Participants who wish to complete a full 5K can follow the route three times (3.1 miles total), with up to two hours to finish. The route begins at Mardi Gras Park at N. Royal and Church Streets, continues along Church Street to S. Franklin Street, left onto St. Francis Street, left on N. Royal Street, back to Church Street. Participants will repeat this loop three times, finishing at Mardi Gras Park.

Info: Stick around after the walk for a lively post-event celebration featuring a hydration station, live music, and a kid-friendly activation zone. Community service providers will also be on site sharing valuable resources and information, making it a great opportunity to connect, celebrate, and support one another.
