 Millie’s Butterfly Ball
We are incredibly honored to be hosting Millie’s Butterfly Ball on Sunday, 30th August (Bank Holiday Weekend). This evening is dedicated to celebrating the beautiful life of Millie-Jay Rose Boocock—a "perfect daughter" and a beloved friend whose story has touched so many hearts.
Millie-Jay, from Morley, was a bright student at Wakefield College with big dreams of running her own business. Tragically, on February 25th, Millie-Jay passed away following an epileptic seizure at just 17 years old. After being seizure-free for three months, her passing was a devastating shock, highlighting just how dangerous this condition can be. We are coming together to honor her memory and ensure she remains #17forever.
As the organisers (Leanne & Dean) our mission is to turn this heartbreak into a legacy of hope. All proceeds from the night will go directly to Epilepsy Action. This incredible charity provides vital support and a voice for the hundreds of thousands of people living with epilepsy, ensuring that no one has to face the condition alone.
The Lineup & Call to Action
We already have multiple DJs confirmed and ready to bring the energy! Full ticket details and the official lineup will be released very soon, so make sure to keep a close eye on this page for the announcement.
We are still looking for big-name DJs who would be willing to donate their time and talent to this cause. If you are a DJ—or know someone with a platform who wants to help us honor Millie-Jay and support the life-changing work of Epilepsy Action—please get in touch. Your support would mean the world to us.
Join us this Bank Holiday Sunday as we fly high for Millie-Jay and dance the night away in her honor.
