Cherokee County Department of Social Services is hosting a 5K fundraiser; “Miles that Matter”, for children in foster care in Cherokee County. This 5K is to raise awareness for foster care, recruit foster families and pre-adoptive homes.
Your support will cover infant care supplies, or could be the reason a child is able to play sports, go on school field trips, and participate in other activities just like children who are not in foster care. Every child in foster care has the right to normalcy.
With your help, Cherokee County Foster Children will have opportunities that they may not have otherwise.
