What to Expect

R O O T & C R A F T welcomes you into a relaxed, sunlit morning of creating and connecting. In this guided workshop, you’ll explore the foundations of working with air-dry clay while shaping your own minimalist trinket dish—from first touch to finished form.

Come with friends, a partner, or on your own—this space is open to all.

During your time with us, you’ll:

• Choose from a curated selection of natural and manmade clay impression stamps

• Learn essential basic hand building techniques including slab building, coiling, pinching, and finishing

• Work with thoughtfully selected, high-quality tools and materials

• Ease into a moment that’s yours—whether that looks like gentle breathwork, quiet connection, or simply enjoying a warm cup of coffee or tea

You’ll leave with a handcrafted piece designed to hold your everyday essentials, a renewed energy, and satisfaction that comes with creating something beautiful by hand.

No prior experience is needed—this workshop is designed for both beginners and curious makers alike.

Each detail is intentionally considered — so you can simply arrive, settle in, and create.

A few things to note:

• Designs and finishes may vary slightly from images shown

• The clay used in this workshop is non-toxic and safe for home use

• Pieces will require 24-72 hours to fully dry (depending on thickness), they'll be safely packaged for transportation home; you'll be offered varnish for additional water resistance and care instructions.

• Parking (free & paid) is available around the studio, there's dedicated EVO parking across the street, and secure bike parking is available in our gated parking lot.

• Photos and video may be captured during the workshop—if you’d prefer not to be included, just let us know when you arrive
