Why does dividing by a fraction mean flipping and multiplying? Most students are told to memorize it. In this session, they'll actually understand it.
This is a structured, small-group workshop (capped at 20) designed to help middle-schoolers understand — not just memorize — how and why fraction division works, setting them up for success with ratios, rates, and algebra in the fall, and reducing anxiety about falling behind.
Every student completes a short pre- and post-check to measure real growth. No inflated numbers — students and parents see exactly where they stand.
Who it's for: Students entering or in grades 6–8 who have some comfort with basic fractions and whole-number division. Perfect late-summer timing to walk into the new school year solid.
