Delta Wave is an autonomous creative collective and slightly-too-loud product of a decades-long friendship. Born in the East Bay from a shared musical Venn diagram that spans everything from Guided by Voices and Scared of Chaka to Lifetime and Superchunk. The band filters their influences into indie-rock energy with punk velocity. With a strong DIY ethos, Delta Wave handles all their own recording, mixing, screen-printing, and art, ensuring total creative control over their unique, guitar-driven output. They started in 2021 and have cut their teeth playing the bay’s most iconic punk venues from Eli’s Mile High Club to The Knockout to 924 Gilman.

Fortunately, there is no wrong answer when this quartet from the East Bay delivers ONLY the best of both door prize options through a return to their post-hardcore and 90s emo musical roots. Inspired (but not shackled) by the likes of Braid, Texas Is The Reason, Jawbox, and Rival Schools, they focus on catchy tunes and hope you’ll sing along and do that crazy dance that everyone loves.
