Vaughan Williams’ Overture to The Wasps buzzes to life with lively energy, followed by his lyrical and playful Tuba Concerto, featuring San Antonio’s own Justin Benavidez, praised as a “true virtuoso” by Fanfare Magazine. The evening ends with Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, taking us from its famous opening notes to a thrilling, victorious finale!
