About this Event
To celebrate East and South East Asian Heritage Month and the Mid-Autumn Festival, join us for a fun afternoon of storytelling and mooncake-making!
From 4pm, Bamboo Bilingual will be holding a workshop with an interactive, bilingual Mandarin-English reading of The Legend of Chang’e (the Chinese Moon Goddess) and some learning activities! Then, each child will learn to make engravings inspired by traditional Chinese mooncake designs using creative mediums such as playdough.
From 3pm, there will be books about the Mid-Autumn Festival for sale in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Please book 1 ticket per child. The workshop will begin at 4pm, so please arrive prior to this time to allow for a prompt start.
