Learn specialized techniques to crystallize various substances on a microscope slide, then capture breathtaking, one-of-a-kind images using a microscope-mounted camera. Whether you're a science enthusiast, an aspiring artist, or a photography lover, this hands-on experience will ignite your creativity and curiosity. Uncover the extraordinary patterns and colors within crystals and see the world in a whole new way! Students will be able to take home a high definition picture of one of their microscopic photographs.
Lean Into STEAM: STEAM adds the 'art' to the well known STEM acronym. This session is a perfect example of a combination of art and science. Students will work in lab spaces, working with microscopes, while creating art!
Parking Notice: Parking at the John R. Post is limited and most spaces are metered. Please plan accordingly if you are planning to stay during the sessions. Drop offs can be done at the front of the building (Penn Street).
