Come to the Thursday, September 18th Meeting!
The meeting starts at 7:00PM and is held in the TRC Community Flex Space at the South Bend Tech Resource Center at 1165 Franklin St. #100 South Bend, IN 46601.
This will be an in-person / Webex hybrid meeting! A Webex link will be sent to recent members on our list. If you don't get one by Wednesday night and wish to attend remotely, please contact me.
Having trouble getting the views you expected from your telescope? Having trouble with the GoTo unit on your motorized scope? Seeing blurs instead of sharp images? Bring in your telescope at 6:30 and we'll help you troubleshoot your issues and learn how to use it!
This month, David May will do a presentation on Lowell Observatory.
David is a retired engineer and has been involved with astronomy for 25 years. He was a visual only observer until 2020, when he started doing astrophotography with his phone. More recently, he has started using a DWARF II Smart Telescope. He got to spend 4½ months during the winter at a Bortle 2 dark site. He has several world-renowned observations within easy driving distance. It's great!
We meet on the third Thursday of each month.
