Experience an evening of jazz, funk, soul, and R&B as award-winning vocalist Michaele Postell graces Scout Hall on Thursday, April 11. Known for her interpretations of jazz legends, Postell will pay homage to icons Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, and Sarah Vaughan in her performance for the "Underground Jazz" series.

The concert will also feature a preview of original music from Postell’s highly anticipated debut album, set to release in 2025. Blending her classical training and passion for jazz, she brings a unique and fresh energy to the genre, creating a fusion of timeless elegance and contemporary innovation.

A classically trained coloratura soprano with a degree in Vocal Performance from Kennesaw State University, Postell shifted her focus to jazz in 2022, embracing the influences of her musical heroes Ella Fitzgerald, Judy Garland, and Sarah Vaughan.
