Free piano concert as a benefit for the Scherer Family, whose young daughter August was violently attacked by a dog
All donations received at the event sponsored by First United Methodist Church will be given to the family to help with on-going bills including medical and travel expenses for their young daughter August, who was severely injured from a dog attack on April 30th, and has been diagnosed with a neurological disorder.
Michael Scherer has been entertaining audiences throughout Central Illinois and beyond for many years. This will be his first piano concert since the accident on April 30th. In addition to the performance, he will share information about their journey of faith thus far, and the many months and years of recovery ahead for August.
