Michael literally has dancing in his genes. His mother, Carmen Garcia & uncle Michael Kiehm are some of the most accomplished dancers the Swing & Ballroom circuits have seen. They ran the Starlight Dance Studio in San Diego for Decades and produced a number of champion dancers.
Mike has taken it to the next level and is a true champion dancer himself. Michael has been training and dancing for the past 30+ years, in most styles of Partner Dancing. He is considered one of the top Champion West Coast Swing dancers in the world. Michael has been traveling, teaching and performing not only in the United States but in countries like Canada, France, Switzerland, Germany, Russia, United Kingdom, Brazil and Australia. He is known for his instruction, choreography, unique style, approach and quality. Michael is dedicated to the growth of WCS as a fun and exciting social activity for everyone to enjoy.
Anne Flemings dance in Lexington Ma. Tuesday 01/27/26. He will be available for Private Lessons Wed 01/28 & Thurs 01/29 in Springfield, Ma/Windsor Locks, CT and of course our workshop weekend Fri & Sat.

8-9:00PM – Intermediate WC Swing
9PM – 11:30PM (ish) – Dance – Free with Both Friday workshops

Saturday 01/31/26 – Here’s your chance to elevate the look of your dance. Each workshop will get progressively more intricate with Patterns, Technique & Styling/Positioning.
1-2:15 PM – Novice/Intermediate WC Swing
2:30-3:45PM – Intermediate WC Swing
4:00PM-5:15PM – Intermediate plus WC Swing
*5:15PM-7:00PM – Dinner Break/Food Truck & Dancing
Saturday Night – Int/Advanced - West Coast Swing - 7- 8 PM
Saturday Night Dance - 9-Midnight - $10 Dance Only
