Back by demand after their hugely successful appearance at the 2024 Top Half Folk Festival, Mic Conway and Robbie Long return to Alice Springs/Mparntwe to celebrate the release of Whoopee Blues - a film about the musical careers of Mic and Jim Conway (Captain Matchbox Whoopee Band).In a circus of comedy, music and magic, Mic and Robbie present a hilarious array of idiosyncratic songs that will make your jaw drop, toes tap and sides split. Mic Conway is a master story teller of tall tales and trues, while Robbie Long is the charismatic and utterly brilliant instrumentalist.
Quirky local singer/songwriter Bambadino will open the night with their unique take on life and the universe, all in perfectly melodic singalong songs!
