Learn the craft of songwriting with touring artist Liz Stringer, one of Australia’s most admired and versatile songwriters and instrumentalists.
Beloved equally for her rock stylings, knee-buckling ballads and a world-class lyrical and story-telling prowess that sees her write affectingly from a staggering range of perspectives, Liz Stringer is carving a fiercely autonomous creative path while maintaining a deep sense of connection with her devoted and ever-growing audience.

After a string of intimate solo shows across the U.K., Liz is beginning her Australian 'To Survive' tour in the NT with an intimate show at our very own Water Tank Cafe – 31 October, supported by local artists Bubalo (Ntaria/Hermannsburg) and Jami Ashenden (Mparntwe/Alice Springs).
Presented by Double J, Select Music, Remote Control Records and in partnership with Wombat Housing Support Services, the To Survive tour will also act as a campaign to bring awareness to the housing crisis affecting the country and raise much-needed funds for Australia’s most vulnerable.
