Metro Vancouver Food System Strategy: Local Govt & Health Workshop Option 2

Various new issues have underscored the need to re-assess and update Metro Vancouver’s Regional Food System Strategy since it was first completed in 2011. Metro Vancouver is connecting with those involved in the local food system to develop an understanding of the issues, perspectives, challenges, and successes that the sectors within the food system have experienced over the past 10-15 years. This workshop is intended for local government and/or health authority staff.

There are 3 workshop offerings for local government and health authority staff:

• : in person on Tuesday September 24th from 9am - 12pm at SFU Surrey - University Drive Campus (maximum 42 participants).

• Option 2: in person on Friday October 18th from 1pm-4pm at Metro Vancouver Head Office (Tower III, 28 Floor of the Conference Centre) in Burnaby (this event) (maximum 32 participants).

• : online option on Thursday October 31st from 10am-12pm (maxium 40 participants).

Due to limited capacity we ask that you please select whichever option works best for your schedule.

Location – 28 Floor in the Conference Centre; Please ask for assistance at the security to access the floor.

Transit – The location is accessible via Skytrain and bus. Parking is available in Metrotown Metropolis.
