Metro D Line Extension Tour

Join us for a free group tour aboard Metro! We will be exploring the new extension of the D Line on opening weekend, riding the train and checking out the new stations along the way!

We will be meeting on Saturday, May 9th at 10am in the plaza next to the platform at Del Mar station in Pasadena. From here we will take the Metro A Line (formerly the Gold Line) to Union Station, where we will transfer to the D Line to ride it to the new stations at Wilshire/La Brea, Wilshire/Fairfax (adjacent to Museum Mile and the Tar Pits!), and Wilshire/La Cienega. We anticipate returning to Pasadena by 2pm.

Please wear comfortable walking shoes. Metro has typically made rail service free on the opening weekend of an extension, so we don't anticipate anyone having to pay transit fare. Lunch will not be provided, participants must purchase or bring their own.
