Metro Atlanta FOOLS Truck Training
Join us for an intensive and hands-on Truck Training opportunity tailored for the Metro Atlanta firefighting community. This class is dedicated to equipping firefighters with essential truck company skills and knowledge, enhancing their capabilities in critical situations.
Truck Class Overview The Truck class features four specialized stations, each offering an immersive two-hour session to develop key truck company skills. With a maximum of 40 students, participants will be divided into smaller groups of 10, ensuring personalized instruction and ample hands-on experience. The four stations include:
VEIS (Vent, Enter, Isolate, Search): Learn effective search and rescue techniques to operate efficiently in challenging environments.
Forcible Entry and Primary Search: Master entry methods to gain quick access to structures and conduct efficient primary searches.
Ventilation: Understand ventilation's impact on fireground conditions and practice strategies that enhance safety for victims and firefighters.
Ladders: Build proficiency in ladder placement and operations, focusing on safety and effectiveness in rescue and firefighting efforts.
