Tacoma Little Theatre's Off the Shelf program presents Mary Zimmerman’s Metamorphoses. This production will play Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 7:30pm and is directed by Suzy Willhoft.In what’s considered her signature theatrical piece, once hailed as “the theater event of the year” (Time), Tony Award-winning director and playwright Mary Zimmerman juxtaposes the ancient and the contemporary in a ravishing theatricalization of Roman poet Ovid’s powerful masterwork, Metamorphoses. An ensemble of actors embodies figures from Greek mythology to share both well-known and rarely told stories of transformation.
Metamorphoses features the talents of: Emily Cohen, Ashley Evergreen, Claire Garcia, Annette Hockman, Becca Jourden, and Andrea Weston-Smart.
Tickets for the March 11, 2026 performance at 7:30pm are $10.00 for non TLT Members, and FREE for Season Ticket/FLEX pass holders. Tickets may be purchased online at www.tacomalittletheatre.com, or by calling our Box Office at (253) 272-2281.

We know that there is a tremendous amount of wonderful theatre that deserves to be heard but sometimes just doesn’t get an opportunity. With “Off the Shelf”, local directors and actors will be bringing some scripts to life that we hope you will find entertaining, challenging and educational to our stage.
