Metal Shape Suncatcher - Mapunapuna

Create a sparkling bejeweled suncatcher to brighten your days! Malia will help you learn basic wire-wrapping so you can take the colored wire, variety of gemstone chips and other assorted beads (your choices, all included!) and attach them securely and beautifully to your gold frame. The open frame shapes range from simple square and triangle to fun shapes like the star or crescent moon!

To finish your piece, you will use basic jewelry making and macrame technique to suspend a faceted cut-crystal shape to capture and reflect light, with a hanging loop to finish. If you do not complete your suncatcher during class, you will go home with the knowledge and skill you need to complete it successfully.

Wonderful for ages 15 and up. Close-up glasses recommended if you have them!
