Metal Foil Embossing Workshop
Join Gild & Gather (@gild.gather) for a beginner-friendly Metal Foil Embossing Workshop at The Botanist Coffee Co (@thebotanistcoffeeco)! We will work with gold & silver foil to create softly dimensional artworks, either from your own designs or illustrations created specially by your host: multi media artist and owner of Gild & Gather, Bea (@bystudiobea). Plus, enjoy a £5 drink voucher on us- perfect for relaxing and celebrating your new skills. This is an in-person event, so come ready to switch off, expand your creativity and find a community of likeminded people seeking joy in all seasons.
This event provides all the necessary tools to create your own gold or silver embossed artworks including templates for those who don't feel comfortable designing their own. Each participant will have two 20x30cm foil sheets (double sided gold/silver) to create artworks in a range of sizes.
£5 drink voucher to be redeemed against a cold, hot or alcoholic drink at the event. Drinks over £5 require payment of the additional cost. Further drinks are available to purchase on the night. Voucher is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another event.
Disclaimer: as we work with tools that may have sharp edges, this is an 18+ event and those with bleeding disorders or on blood thinners are advised not to participate or participate at their own risk.
