Dismantle 'Role Suffocation' and burnout in our 'Finger Paint workshop, using tactile exploration to map your true life balance
About this Event

What if the missing piece to your peace isn't more self-care chores, but pure, unadulterated play?

If you've been feeling a heavy sense of identity drift—feeling like you are constantly over-functioning for everyone else while losing your own spark—you don't need another slide deck, lecture, or networking hour. You need a playground.

Welcome to Play Lab

This August, we are stepping into our screen-free sanctuary to break the "Good Girl" costume, silence the inner critic, and trade high-performance masking for raw presence.

Play Lab is a 120-minute experiential sanctuary designed to help your mind settle, your nervous system reset, and your real-world relationships improve naturally. In this special edition, Messy Hands, Clean Truths, unrestricted tactile play acts as a mirror. By dipping your hands directly into raw pigment and painting without brushes, you will completely bypass your professional ego and quiet the mental chatter.

Making a mess on purpose will help you spot your hidden patterns—like over-functioning, perfectionism, or the absolute need for control. By uncovering these traits in our sandbox, you will dismantle "role suffocation," map your true life balance, and gain immediate, actionable awareness. You will leave with a personalized integration blueprint to take home, instantly improving how you communicate, set boundaries, and connect with partners, colleagues, and friends.

Our August Experience features our signature theme: Finger Painting. Here is how our 4-step journey unfolds with your messy hands.

The Experience Agenda

Phase 1: The Threshold — Rapid Subtraction

  • Digital Blackout: Phones are collected in a basket upon arrival to eliminate screen and performance fatigue.
  • The Name-Only Rule: Participants write their first name only on tags—job titles, corporate resumes, and maternal/family roles are legally barred from the room to create "social weightlessness."
  • The Plate Emptying Ritual: Participants perform a quick mental load audit, dumping every burden and "should" onto Post-it notes stuck to a paper plate, then physically ripping the heaviest ones into tiny shreds for an immediate sensory release.

Phase 2: Somatic Breath Reset (Grounding)

Sitting on towels and picnic blankets, we use gentle, sensory-based somatic breathing to ground your body, soothe your nervous system, and transition your mind into a state of absolute presence.

Phase 3: Deconstruction & Tactile Shift — The Bypass

  • Silent Decompression: The activity begins with 10 minutes of deep, uninterrupted silence to quiet down the professional ego.
  • Facilitated Play: Participants spend 20–25 minutes engaged in the monthly variable activity (such as your finger painting workshop).
  • The "Do It Wrong" Directive: Facilitation prompts intentionally push participants to break the rules—such as painting with their non-dominant hand or making something intentionally ugly—to trigger and highlight their real-world resistance to a loss of control.

Phase 4: Architectural Audit & Coaching Circle — Radical Transformation

  • The Mirror Inquiry: After cleaning hands, the group moves to a cozy coaching circle for silent, guided journaling to map out what behaviors or adult mental barriers popped up during play.
  • Coaching Intensive: You lead high-accountability diagnostic coaching and hot-seat interventions, using their explicit play behaviors as a mirror to redesign their personal blueprints (Boundaries, Sanctuaries, and No-lists).

Phase 5: Raw Bio Closure & Somatic Close — Structural Carry-over

  • The Raw Bio: Each woman shares a statement defining herself entirely without using external utility or professional credentials.
  • The Micro-Action: Participants commit to a single, concrete boundary adjustment or "No-list" item for the upcoming week.
  • The Physical Anchor: Phones are returned, and participants receive a physical, tangible token (such as a smooth river stone or a dried flower) to take home as an unshakeable boundary reminder.
  • Somatic Close: Close our sanctuary with a short somatic breathing exercise to integrate your realizations. Commit to your micro-action, retrieve your phone, and receive a smooth, custom-painted river stone to take home as a physical anchor for your promise.

What You Will Gain by Attending:
  • Instant Lightness & Stress Relief: Shed the heavy weight of daily adult responsibilities.
  • Nervous System Regulation: Shift out of "fight-or-flight" and into grounded safety through somatic healing.
  • Genuine Connection: Build authentic relationships through shared mindfulness, laughter, and unmasked conversation.
  • Better Relationships: Take home a micro-action plan to instantly improve how you connect with others.

What to Wear & Bring (Indoor Prep):
  • What to Wear: Wear comfortable clothing that you are completely okay getting paint on. While our finger paints are non-toxic and washable, this is a hands-on, boundary-breaking lab designed to let you play without worrying about a mess. Think old t-shirts, cozy loungewear, or activewear that doesn't mind a stray splash of color.
  • What to Bring: Bring a standard yoga mat or a large towel to sit comfortably on the floor during our coaching circle.
  • The Journaling Requirement: Please bring a physical journal or notebook and a pen. You will want this to capture your immediate breakthroughs and map out your custom integration blueprint during the structural coaching segment.
  • A Note on Technology: Because this is a strict screen-free sanctuary, you will be asked to put your phone on do not disturb and keep it out of sight. Plan accordingly so you can completely unplug for the full 120 minutes.
