The 2010 American Prize winner Mercury Orchestra, Channing Yu Music Director, will perform at the Grand Finale concert of the 2026 Summer Concert Series at NEC 夏日系列音樂會 on Saturday, Aug 22, 7:30 pm at Jordan Hall, featuring the 2026 Fou Ts’ong International Concerto Competition winner (TBA on 8/16/2026) as the soloist. Program includes:
SCHUMANN: Symphony No. 1 in B-flat major, Op. 38 'Spring'
BRAHMS: Piano Concerto No. 2 in B-flat major, Op. 83
(Featuring the winner (TBA) of 2026 Fou Ts’ong International Concerto Competition as the soloist)
