ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Inspired by the relationship between function and art, Mercedes creates function wheel-thrown and hand-built ceramic forms for everyday life. Her pieces are adorned with playful and colorful illustrations inspired by her home in Juneau, Alaska, and the little daily moments that spark joy.
