Brews and Brushes is a small group watercolor workshop where you'll learn watercolor techniques through simple exercises and projects. Brews and Brushes is designed for all ages* and all skill levels, no art experience required! Whether you're a seasoned painter or just starting out, the laid-back, social atmosphere is perfect for connecting with fellow art enthusiasts while exploring the wonderful world of watercolor. Before winter takes its final hold, we have two more fall inspired projects for November! Foggy Fall Morning and Glazed Gourds.
For this workshop, we will be creating a fall forest reflection on a foggy morning. This project was inspired by the dense fog we had in early October. As you here in Juneau know, we’ve had a wonderful fall! We were driving past Twin Lakes and the trees reflection on the lake with dense fog rolling in from Downtown was so beautiful. I thought, “This has to be a project.”
All art supplies provided. All you have to do is show up and play with paint!
We offer a variety of non alcoholic brews including coffee, loose leaf teas, and Athletic Brewing’s non alcoholic beer. You may bring your own alcoholic beverage if you desire.
Limited seats, advance ticket purchase recommended.
*Though all ages are welcome, projects are generally designed for school age children and up.
