The Mount Mera Peak lies in the eastern Himalayas of Nepal in the Khumbu and Everest regions, which are elevated at 6,476 meters. The majestic and accessible mountain, Mera Peak, is one of the best Himalayan expeditions. Mera Peak is a mountain in the Mahalangur Himalayas section, Barun subsection, administratively in Nepal’s Sagarmatha (Everest) zone. Mera Peak and Everest are located in the Solu Khumbu district in Hinku Valley. The wonderful Mera Peak was first summited by Jimmy Roberts, the British mountaineer, who is also known as the father of trekking in Nepal. The first ascent of Mera Peak was on 20 May 1953 by Col. Jimmy Roberts and Sen Tenzing. Mera Peak is one of the best peaks for beginners and perfect training for climbing high-altitude peaks like Everest.
