Mephistofeles is a stoner-doom band from Paraná, Argentina, known for its raw, hypnotic sound blending heavy fuzz riffs, psychedelic atmospheres and occult-tinged lyrics. Emerging from the South American underground, the band gained international attention through a series of cult releases and relentless touring across Europe and the Americas. Their music combines slow, crushing doom grooves with lo-fi production and dark psychedelic textures, drawing influence from classic heavy rock while maintaining a distinctly underground aesthetic.Sleeping Mountain is a raw, heart-driven blend of psych rock, desert grooves and doom, channelling folklore, mysticism and life’s natural struggles into trance-inducing riffs, shifting tempos and haunting lyrics.
