Mental Health Skills for Managers: Monday 23rd September 2024. 1pm-5pm

Empower managers to put wellbeing at the heart of their leadership approach with this practical and immersive online course.

Managers who are able to support the mental health of their teams will encourage employees to thrive, increasing talent retention.

Providing training to everyone with people management responsibilities will ensure a consistent approach to mental health and wellbeing across teams and departments, promoting healthy performance throughout the whole organisation.

Format

• 30-minute self-reflective work before the course
• 4-hour course delivered face-to-face or online
• Immersive training session, led by an instructor with people management experience
• Opportunities to practice embedding skills through group activities and discussions to share best practice
• The course is delivered to a maximum of 16 people to allow for rich discussion

Your trainer for this course is Beth Goodyear. A professional trainer with over 26 years of experience managing teams and providing training to 1,500+ people a year. Since becoming an MHFA England Instructor, Beth has trained over 1,000 people in the MHFA England half-day, one-day and two-day courses.

Beyond FMHS Consulting Ltd, Beth has expanded her community impact, offering free mental health awareness training to 200+ individuals, and earning local TV and radio recognition. She volunteers with Action for Happiness and serves as an associate trainer for various organisations.
