About this Event
MHFA is an evidence-based public education program designed to impart invaluable skills for assisting someone in the midst of a mental health crisis. It goes beyond awareness, focusing on practical techniques that can bridge the gap until professional help arrives. Imagine the impact if responding to a mental health crisis becomes as commonplace as administering CPR during a cardiac emergency.
Why MHFA Training?
Did you know you're statistically more likely to encounter someone facing a mental health crisis than someone having a heart attack? MHFA training opens your eyes to the signs, teaches you how to communicate effectively, and guides you in connecting those in need with professional help. It’s about becoming a lifeline in a world where mental health matters.
Mental Health First Aid is not just a course; it's a movement to foster communities that understand, support, and uplift one another. Join us in this transformative journey, and let's make responding to mental health crises as instinctive as extending a helping hand. Together, we can create a world where everyone's mental health is a priority.
