MENTAL HEALTH DAY
Talk, movement, sound and interaction
This year, CPH Village will mark the international Mental Health Day and invite all villagers to take part in a well-being workshop hosted in two of the village community spaces. This year, we will focus on how the body, mind and surroundings can affect the human body. All villagers are invited and your friends as well.

ABOUT THE EVENT
Come explore how the body and mind practices can strengthen the connection to ourselves and the people around us, and gain a deeper understanding of yourself and the people around you. We are going to move, and be still, and explore how both can have an impact on our general wellbeing. Together, we will dive into the complex connection between knowledge, movement, relaxation and reflection - and have fun.
The workshop will kick off with a brief talk about Mental Health anno 2024, followed by simple movement and breathing exercises, group reflection and a guided body scan, leaving the room for deep relaxation. We will work around how wellbeing, performance culture and social media affects the human mind and body.
You will leave this workshop with useful tools to calm down your nervous system and to navigate an hectic everyday life.

COME BY
The event will be held twice in the community space, once a Village Refshaleøen and once at Village Vesterbro. All you have to do is to show up, bring a notebook and a yoga mat - if you have one. This event is open for all villagers and friends of villagers (you need to be study active to participate)
The event is supported by CPH Village and hosted by Freja and Cecilie - two psychomotor therapists with a passion for supporting self expression and wellbeing.
