Bring your family, friends, and neighbors for a free community gathering dedicated to your mental health and well-being. This fair brings together local residents, healers, advocates, and wellness organizations — all in one place, for you to refresh and prepare for Spring.
Whether you're seeking resources for yourself, a loved one, or simply want to feel more connected to your community, you're welcome here. No appointments. No pressure. Just real support from people who care. Hosted at the beautiful UDC East Capitol Urban Farm, this free event is all about community unity, mental health and wellness, and fun for all ages.
What to Expect:
- Morning Stretch Workout
- Connect with local mental health and wellness providers
- Learn about free and low-cost services
- Fun activities just for kids
- Free food and concession stands
- Live garden demonstrations
- On-site seedlings for sale. Start growing something beautiful at home
- A calming, outdoor setting designed for conversation and connection
- Community spirit and resources

9:00 AM – Morning Move Chair Exercise

- Gentle chair-based exercise and stretching
- Promoting healthy movement and wellness
9:30 AM – Event Setup
- Vendor and information table setup
- Sound system and stage preparation
- Volunteer coordination
10:00 AM – Welcome Gathering
- Guest arrival and check-in
- Community networking
10:30 AM – Puppet Show Setup
- Children’s activity area prepared
- Puppet show stage and seating arranged
11:00 AM – Puppet Show Performance
- Youth mental health themed puppet presentation
12:00 PM - Afternoon Activities
Stress Support Groups
- Small group discussions on managing stress
- Peer support and community conversation
Children’s Sip & Paint Activity
Facilitated by Patrice White – Dreams Come True
- Creative art activity for youth
- Promoting positive expression and creativity
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM – Community Food Service
- Lunch served to attendees
- Community fellowship and networking
2:30 PM – Raffle & Gift Bag Distribution
- Community raffle drawing
- Distribution of wellness gift bags to participants
3:00 PM – 3:30 PM – Acknowledgments & Thank You
- Recognition of community partners, volunteers, and supporters
3:30 PM – Community Line Dance
- Group line dancing for fun, movement, and community engagement
4:00 PM – Event Closing & Breakdown
- Vendor pack-up
