About this Event
Menstrual Cycle-wise Workshop for moms and tweens with April McMurtry
Join us in person for a fun, insightful workshop designed just for moms and tweens! April McMurtry will guide you through understanding the menstrual cycle in a friendly, relaxed setting. Don’t miss out on this chance to get comfy talking periods and cycle-wise living.
This free community workshop includes reading an excerpt from the book Peaceful Periods by Chantal Blake. We will have a discussion and an art activity to learn about the seasons of the menstrual cycle and how to support each phase. There is space for six pairs of caretakers with 9-12 year olds who want to become more cycle-wise and learn about the menstrual cycle in a creative nature-based way. Ideally for tweens who have not started bleeding yet.
