THE COST OF THE RETREAT IS $50.
Please give all physical monies regarding the retreat to Linda Buchko. You can pay with cash, check or through the app. If paying through the app, please agree to pay the extra costs associated with it. It’s usually around .33 cents.

RETREAT SPEAKER: Nick Reid
Nick will be teaching us about becoming living stones, and how to
understand our identity in Christ.
SESSION ONE: Discovering Our Gifts
You might think, well most of us are long time believers, why look at spiritual gifts? I think sometimes older Christians, we forget who we are. We get off track with who God intended us to be, or we have dormant gifts that God wants to reignite after many years of gathering dust. We are going to take some time filling out a spiritual gifts assessment tool.
We will start by praying for God to guide our answers. It’s best when filling out the gift questionnaire, to answer not only honestly, but instinctively. Don’t answer what you want to be true, but what is true. Usually your first thought is accurate, do not agonize over what to choose, you don’t have time anyway really.
Once we pray and fill out the questionaire, then we will have a short time of prayer and share. We are praying to ask God to reveal to us, what his heart is-in alignment with our gifts. Write down what you hear from him, what he desires for you to do with the gifts he has given you. If you are willing, share what you have been hearing from the Lord this night. We will be passing around the mic.
SESSION TWO: How To Use Our Gifts
Nick Reid will lead this session. We move from discovery or rediscovery to practical applications of our gifts. This will be a time of small group interaction and prayer. The men in your group will help to affirm the gifts you have, and if applicable, will help you practice your gifts in a safe setting.
