We invite high school youth from across the diocese to join us in the beautiful Black Hills at Placerville Camp and Retreat Center for a weekend retreat.
The retreat will be led by the Sisters of the Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary and Air Force Lieutenant Colonel James Diroff. James – a combat aviator and U-2 pilot - has led some of the military’s most complex and dangerous high-altitude/near-space reconnaissance operations. Yet beyond the flight suit and medals, he is first and foremost a man of deep Catholic faith; he has appeared on EWTN Live, Forbes Magazine, and Jay Leno’s Garage. This weekend promises to be a weekend of profound growth, transformation, joy, community, and encounter with Jesus Christ, our Lord.
