Bring your best team and battle it out for prizes and bragging rights in a Men's and Women's 4s Volleyball Tournament! Please read all details for the event before signing up!
📍 Event Location:
Woodlands Backyard – 668 Grandview Ave., Columbus, OH
⏰ Check-In Time: 9:30 AM
🏐 Balls Up: 10:00 AM
Schedules will be posted online before the start of the tournament via VolleyView.
If a teammate isn't present at the start, you may pick up a substitute with the opposing team's approval. Delays may result in shorter games.
No substitutions will be allowed during bracket play unless an injury occurs and both teams agree.
⏳ Expected End Time: 4:00–5:00 PM if you make it to the finals.
There are court rentals from 4-6 so semis needs to be started by 4.
💵 Entry Fee: $100 per team

"Men's/Women's Tournament – Captain's First and Last Name"
Full teams may pay after signing up.
🟢 Registration Information:
I will be allottiing 3 courts to men's teams and 2 courts to women's teams. If interest shifts, I will adjust the net assignments.
To help promote signups and get more people to play, I am allowing multiple ways to sign up.

Women's Teams
- 10 Teams
✅ Pool Play
• 4 guaranteed games
• 1 set to 21
Format may be adjusted based on the number of sign-ups.
🎖️ Single-Elimination Tournament
Every team will advance to a single-elimination bracket after pool play.
Match lengths and scoring may be adjusted throughout bracket play to ensure the tournament stays on schedule.
🔊 All teams must report match scores and point differentials after every game, whether you win or lose.
🏆 Prizes:
• 1st and 2nd in the upper bracket
• 1st in the lower bracket
Payout amounts and structure of bracket will be determined by the number of sign-ups.
🚫 No outside alcohol is permitted at Woodlands Backyard.
⬇️ Rules & Expectations ⬇️
• Players may stay in set positions on the court but must rotate servers after a side-out.
• No restrictions on who you can serve.
• Directional blocking is allowed.
• Blocks don't count as a touch.
• Open-hand receive is allowed if it is received and released without error or if it is a hard-driven attack.
• Setting over is allowed if clean and perpendicular to the body.
• Accidental set-overs are allowed if the intention was clearly for a teammate.
• Doubles will be called at a BB level (1–1.5 spins).
• No lifts, carries, or open-hand tips.
• No foot faults or touching the net.
• Players may cross into the opposing team's space as long as it doesn't impede play.
