Join Black Girls* Guide to Surviving Menopause for the first installment of Menopause X, a salon series exploring how social, political and cultural conditions shape menopause across gender, race, class, and live experience during Black August.

Volume One examines mass incarceration and the ways imprisonment disrupts bodily autonomy, health, care, family, gender-affirming care and the body’s natural progressions. Through a conversation between featured speakers and the BGG2SM team, we’ll consider what the carceral system reveals about whose bodies are protected, whose needs are recognized and what collective care and liberation might require of us.
