About this Event

EMPOWER Shop Class is...

A series of Woodshop sessions intended for those who historically aren't included in the world of woodworking... such as those who identify as women, nonbinary, LGBTQIA+, or are differently-abled in neurodiversities or physically differently-abled.

Led by nontraditional woodworking instructors. These sessions cover the basics, adaptive methods, and building confidence with tools in and out of the woodshop.

All skill levels are welcome. The EMPOWER Shop Class can be taken as many times as desired, as the project changes each class.

July 26 – Staggered Display Shelves

August 23 – Storage for Pens, Markers, and Craft Supplies

September 27 – Entryway OrganizerDate: Every 4th Sunday


Time: 3 PM - 5:30 PM
Cost: $75
What to Bring: Closed-toed shoes, no loose clothing or jewelry. All materials, tools, and safety equipment provided.

We can offer a full refund up to 7 days before the class. We can issue a transfer of registration if you cancel up to 7 days prior to the class. There are no refunds within the 7-day cutoff and no transfers of registration within the 7-day cutoff.
